Anionic PAM for oilfield has two forms of products in oilfield and depending on the appearance of anionic PAM for oilfield:emulsion anionic for oilfield&powder anionic for oilfield. Oilfield PAM emulsion is a chemical product carrying nagative charge as a flocculant in wastewater treatment, also another fuction is used in fracturing fluid as a drag reducer.
Different uses have different parameter as oilfield PAM emulsion. As a PAM emulsion for oilfield wastewater tratment, anionic PAM for oilfield must be high charge polymer which has good flocculation effect and as a drag reducer, anionic PAM for oilfield must has a short time for dissolve completely(Max time 1min).
Oilfield PAM emulsion mainly functions in fracturing fluids. Anionic PAM for oilfield is a form of emulsion polymer which carries negative charge.
1) Thickening effect Anionic PAM for oilfield can significantly increase the viscosity of the fracturing fluid, enabling it to form effective support in the fractures and prevent the fractures from closing. The high-viscosity fracturing fluid can carry proppants (such as sand grains) deep into the formation fractures, providing channels for the flow of oil and gas.
2) Sand suspension performance Good sand suspension performance can ensure that the proppants are evenly distributed in the fracturing fluid and prevent the proppants from settling too quickly during the fracturing process, ensuring effective support for the fractures. Emulsion anionic for oilfield enhances the suspension stability of the proppants in the fracturing fluid through electrostatic and adsorption interactions with the proppant particles.
3) Reduced fluid loss Emulsion anionic for oilfield can reduce the fluid loss of the fracturing fluid to the formation during the fracturing process, reduce the damage of the fracturing fluid to the formation and improve the fracturing effect. PAM emulsion for oilfield forms a protective film on the rock surface, preventing excessive infiltration of the fracturing fluid into the formation, thereby reducing fluid loss. In fracturing operations in low-permeability formations, controlling fluid loss is particularly important because the reservoir physical properties of low-permeability formations are poor. Excessive fluid loss may lead to reduced efficiency of the fracturing fluid and even cause damage to the formation.
Compare to the cationic polyacrylamide price, anionic polyacrylamide price is cheaper than it.
