3.Usage methods of flocculant anionic powder Dissolution: First of all, a suitable dissolution equipment should be selected. Usually, stainless steel, plastic and other materials of the stirring tank are used and iron containers should be avoided because iron ions may react with anionic polyacrylamide(anionic PAM) and affect the performance of polyelectrolyte flocculant PAM powder. Slowly add the anionic polyacrylamide powder(flocculant anionic powder) to the water while stirring. The stirring speed should not be too fast to avoid damaging the PAM powder flocculant molecular chain.
Generally, polyelectrolyte flocculant PAM powder is controlled at 100--300 revolutions per minute. The dissolution time depends on factors such as water temperature, stirring speed and product model.Flocculant anionic PAM takes 30 minutes to 2 hours. The higher the water temperature, the faster the dissolution speed, but PAM powder flocculant should generally not exceed 60°C to avoid affecting the product performance.
Addition: In applications such as sewage treatment, the dissolved flocculant anionic powder solution is evenly added to the treatment system through a metering pump or other adding equipment.
The selection of the addition point should be determined according to the specific process flow and treatment requirements.
Generally, the position with good mixing effect and sufficient reaction time should be selected. The addition amount needs to be adjusted according to the actual situation. Usually, the optimal addition amount is determined through experiments such as jar tests. Insufficient addition amount may not achieve the expected treatment effect and excessive addition amount may cause waste and even have adverse effects on the treatment system.
