Anionic oilfield polyacrylamide has divided into two types of products: emulsion APAM for oilfield and powder emulsion APAM. Emulsion APAM in oilfield has wide applications which have many advantages, such as fast dissolution speed, low energy consumption and high effective content.
In oilfield development, anionic oilfield polyacrylamide emulsion can be used as drilling fluid to regulate the fluidity of drilling fluid, lubricate the drill bit, reduce equipment wear, reduce stuck drill accidents in drilling, carry cuttings, make the wellbore regular, prevent well leakage and collapse, and increase the drilling speed. In tertiary oil recovery, anionic oilfield polyacrylamide emulsion can regulate the fluidity of injected water, increase the viscosity of the driving fluid, improve the sweep efficiency of water flooding, reduce the water phase permeability in the formation, make water and oil flow forward uniformly, thereby increasing the crude oil recovery rate. For every ton of anionic oilfield polyacrylamide emulsion product injected, about 100--150 tons of crude oil can be extracted more. Oilfield APAM emulsion can also be used as a water shutoff agent. Adding a cross linked oil emulsion APAM agent in a certain concentration of the solution can form coordination bonds with high-valent metal ions, effectively solving the problem of water production in oilfields.
In addition, oilfield emulsion APAM can also be used as an additive for fracturing fluid. Emulsion APAM for oilfield has the advantages of high viscosity, low friction resistance, good sand suspension ability, convenient preparation and low cost. Emulsion APAM in oilfield is widely used in the fracturing process to open rock channels and allow oil to flow through.For example, the new polyacrylamide emulsion APAM in oilfield is synthesized by dispersion polymerization and has the advantages of fast dissolution speed, convenient field use, and environmental friendliness. The polymer gel profile control system composed of anionic oilfield APAM emulsion with a molecular weight of (6 - 8)×10^6 and a hydrolysis degree of 20% and phenolic aldehyde pre-condensation crosslinking agent can be directly prepared with seawater with a pH value of 8.3 and a salinity of 31107.12mg/L.
Oilfield emulsion APAM has high gelation strength and can effectively block high-permeability layers, basically meeting the needs of profile control in offshore oilfields.
The content of oilfield APAM is 40% and the molecular weight of oilfield emulsion APAM is 15~30.
The specific granvity is 1.0 and the pH value (1% aqueous solution) is 6.5~7.5.
Regarding to the application of oilfield APAM emulsion product is used for drag reducer in fracturing fluid.
