Cationic flocculant is a kind of polyacrylamide product, which is made by DAC and several other components being polymerized.The dissolution speed of cationic flocculant emulsion is relatively fast. Generally, PAM emulsion flocculant can be completely dissolved in about 15 minutes. Compared with dry powder polyacrylamide, it does not need to go through the drying process, which saves production time and cost to a certain extent.
The dissolution process of emulsion cationic for oilfield is relatively simple and can be used immediately after preparation, bringing great convenience to practical applications. For example, in some scenarios that require rapid sewage treatment, PAM flocculant can be put into use quickly to improve work efficiency.
At the same time, PAM flocculant can be stored without problems at a temperature environment around 30°C and can be preserved for two years, which also provides certain flexibility for storage and transportation. PAM flocculant also has several significant functional characteristics. Chemical flocculant liquid has a fast reaction speed when treating sewage, and the flocs formed during the sludge dewatering process are tight, which helps to improve the efficiency and effect of sludge dewatering. In water treatment, chemical flocculant liquid has functions such as clarification and purification, sedimentation promotion, filtration promotion, and thickening. For example, in terms of water clarification, PAM flocculant can effectively reduce the turbidity of the treated water and improve the quality of the effluent; in terms of sedimentation promotion, PAM flocculant can accelerate the sedimentation speed of suspended substances and improve the treatment efficiency. Emulsion cationic for oilfield includes cationic flocculant product and anionic flocculant liquid. Both of them can be used for wastewater treatment and oily sludge treatment. Compared to PAM flocculant, PAM emulsion flocculant has the advantage of rapid dissolution and no dust.
