Polydadmac

Poly(dimethylaminodiallyl ammonium chloride) , also named polydadmac is a kind of reagent that belongs to water-soluble polymeric polyelectrolyte.  

Poly(dimethylaminodiallyl ammonium chloride) has a variety of characteristics and uses, and has been widely used as a polymeric flocculant in tap water and sewage treatment. For example, in the treatment of raw water with high turbidity during the flood season of river water, polydadmac can effectively coagulate clay, silica, microorganisms and hydrated metal oxides in the raw water. polydadmac also has excellent performance in the treatment of beneficiation wastewater, papermaking wastewater, oily wastewater in oil fields and refineries, industrial wastewater, and urban domestic sewage treatment. polydadmac's quality indicators are diverse, and the appearance includes colorless to light yellow transparent liquid, etc.

In application, when it is used in the water treatment process, it must be formulated into an aqueous solution, and it is normal to formulate it to a concentration of 0.5 to 0.05%. When used in different fields, the most suitable usage method must be selected according to the specific situation.

At the same time, there are types(polydadmac content) such as 20%, 30% and 40% of poly(dimethyldiallyl ammonium chloride). In 2019, the output of poly(dimethyldiallyl ammonium chloride) with a polydadmac content of 20% accounted for about 52.77% of the total.
